Dr Jeff Davies

Specialist Audiologist & Director 

Jeff is a dual registered (RCCP 6833 and HCPC 03837) specialist audiologist with well over a decade of experience working in both NHS and private sector clinical audiology roles. 

Jeff has a first class BSc (Hons) degree in Audiology, a PGCert in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (distinction) and a PhD in Otorhinolaryngology (tinnitus and hearing loss neural mechanisms An investigation of tinnitus using behavioural and functional imaging measures – Nottingham ePrints). 

For six years, Jeff was a senior lecturer and programme leader in audiology at De Montfort University.  He has a wealth of expertise in tinnitus, wax removal training, hearing aid technologies, clinical supervision and higher education audiology. Jeff has published a number of peer reviewed scientific journals and has even delivered audiology outreach clinics in rural India, for which he received a prestigious university OSCAR award.

Parisa Davies

Specialist Audiologist & Co Director 

Parisa is a AHCS registered advanced audiologist who has spent the last 18 years working for the NHS in both paediatric and adult audiology settings. She has a first class BSc (Hons) Audiology degree and has published research on hearing aid management for children with otitis media with effusion (glue ear). Her specialist interests include the assessment and management of children’s hearing, bone conduction hearing instruments and working with adults and children with complex needs.

Hearing Assessment

A comprehensive hearing assessment including video otoscopy, wax removal (as necessary) middle ear evaluation and pure tone audiometry. Tinnitus evaluation and hearing aid management can be discussed as required.

Time: 75 minutes  |  £119.00

Ear Wax Removal

Using magnification and light to visualise your ear, gentle suction is applied to remove the ear wax (microsuction). This is a dry method which does not require the pre-application of oil drops, although they can often help in cases of hard wax.
